Art performance to celebrate the Flood Season Tourism Festival on Đà River in Điện Biên

ĐBP – The art performance celebrating the opening of the 2024-2025 Flood Season Tourism Festival on the Đà River took place at the Mường Lay Mechanical Boat Dock in Điện Biên Province on Friday.

Mùa A Sơn, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with representatives from districts, cities, and various provincial departments and agencies attended the event.

The art performance featured songs and dances celebrating the nation’s renewal, the glorious Party, and the beauty of Điện Biên’s land and people. Visitors and residents enjoyed captivating performances, including ‘Việt Nam, My Homeland’, the dance ‘Colorful Scarves of Mường Villages’, ‘Mường Lay, My Love’, the Thai hat dance, and ‘Flowers by the Stream’.

The event was enhanced by detailed costumes, props, and diverse, creative performance styles that offered audiences a variety of emotional experiences, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere infused with a spirit of ethnic unity. It contributed to preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

The event concluded with a unity circle dance, involving artisans and local performers from various communes and wards, building momentum and excitement for the festival’s success.

The opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 Flood Season Tourism Festival on the Đà River, featuring additional cultural and experiential activities showcasing the beauty of Mường Lay’s land and people, will take place at the Mường Lay Mechanical Boat Dock on Saturday morning.
